Day Four

I made it to the gym this morning and did some abs and weight-lifting, and worked out on the elliptical for a solid hour.  I was down another pound.  I know I cannot keep losing measurable weight every day, but I am grateful for this good start.

I brought more carrot soup to work for my lunch, more Easter eggs for breakfast, and another big apple.  When I snack on nuts or seeds, I have only one handful and don't keep eating them mindlessly, like I may or may not have done in the past.

I marked off another square of my grid--a nose beneath the two eyes.  Three days accomplished.  Roughly a thirty-third of what I have set out to do.  Yesterday, it was one fiftieth.  Tomorrow, it will be one twenty-fifth.

No real obstacles today.

I let my kids start in on the extra cake layer.  There is plenty of cake in my future.  I don't need any right now.
